Hey! I've written out our Live Arrival Guarantee and Shipping Schedule details so you're not left wondering when your order will ship, what to do if something goes wrong, and be prepared for days we will be closed!

We have a few different options at checkout.
Different options will often mean a different ship date.
3-5 Day Shipping will only ship Monday
Unless you live in CT/MA/MD/NJ/NY/PA/RI/VT, we will also ship Tuesday + Wednesday
1 & 2 Day Shipping will ship Monday - Wednesday
If you choose 3-5 Day Shipping, and live outside of those closer states listed, and absolutely insist on having your order shipped on Tuesday/Wednesday anyway, you can respond to your confirmation email (or to shipping@iso-flora.com/text 201-834-6024) Depending on your distance, there is a chance our Live Arrival Guarantee would have to be waived, but we will make you aware before we proceed.
And if you prefer we aim for a certain day arrival, you can communicate that the same way.
We do not ship on Federal Holidays.
Our Holiday Shipping Blackout will be from December 16th - January 31st 2026.
The reason for the extended blackout will be for the birth of our second kiddo around Christmas 2026. Thank you to those of you who will be understanding!
We monitor the weather for all of our customer's zip codes before we ship.
If we see concerning temperatures, we'll reach out to make you aware of a safer ship window, or ask if we can hold off on shipping.
The way we see it is, you've already paid for your isopods; they belong to you. If you decide you don't want to wait for the safer window we suggest, you can have the Live Arrival Guarantee waived and we'll ship as soon as we can in our normal shipment window.
We do not ship when temperatures drop below 30º or rise above 90º in our area.
Weather alerts will be posted in the form of a pop-up on our website, and be individually e-mailed to customers with open orders, to make them aware.
3-5 Day Shipping

1 Day Shipping

If you decide to have your order held for pickup, in the event you will not be home during more concerning temperatures, you may request so by responding to your confirmation email (or to shipping@iso-flora.com/text 201-834-6024)
For Live Species, we will only use UPS and FedEx.
UPS is what we use 99% of the time as it's more cost effective and their communication and reliability with us has been unrivaled.
Due to the unfortunate decline of quality that USPS has reduced themselves to, we will not ship live species through them.
On this note, please do not supply a PO Box for your order's address.
For dry goods orders, we will ship through all 3 carriers, your choice at checkout.
When your order arrives, and you feel like something is off with your isopods/springtails, here's what you should do.
Please keep in mind, every isopod culture comes with 1-2 extras just in case any of the isopods you purchased have trouble during the trip.
Please count the ones alive before reporting a DOA. We do not give refunds/replacements for the extras included.
DOAs must be reported within 2 hours of the carrier's timestamped delivery.
We've extended the standard 1 hour window to 2 - because life happens. Sometimes it's just not convenient to sit down and send an e-mail within an hour of arrival. I write this as I'm actively chasing my toddler. So we get it.
This DOA window is extended for springtails for the allotted time given via our Addressing Common Questions sheet provided with your order.
Take a 10+ second video, with flash on, as clear as possible.
Take 1-3 photos as well if you can.
